Often described as Seven Samurai meets The Dark Crystal, Bone & Mettle takes place in the feudal-era Kingdom of Nekkon seventy years after three enormous alien artifacts have collided with the planet, spreading a virus that has wiped out much of humanity and uplifted animals.

You are an uplifted animal that is part of a band of disgraced former samurai that now skulk the streets of Nekkon’s capital city as street-level ronin, selling your katana to the highest bidder. In the deepest days of Nekkon’s rainy season, you and your companions are hired to defend a community of villagers under repeated attack from a gang of roving bandits. Outnumbered five to one, you and your band must use any means necessary to defend the village, even if it means sacrificing your honor—or your life.

Part action, part intrigue, The Rainy Season: A Bone & Mettle tale is a narrative-driven, animal- on-the-run adventure geared toward mature, open-minded players that enjoy heavy roleplay. With adult themes and bloody action, the Rabble Rouser is looking for mindful, mature (18+) players who can tactfully balance mature drama and R-rated violence.
